Checkered Flag
The race or the practice session is over. |

Red Flag
Race is stopped |
 |

 |
Yellow Flag
Held: Danger on the track, passing prohibited
Waved: Danger ahead, do not pass.
Double waved: blocked track - get ready for breaking |

White Flag
Slow vehicle on the track |
 |
|
|
 |
 |
Yellow-Red Flag
Slippery track, start of rain, or if oil is on the track |
 |
|
|
 |
 |
Green Flag
Track clear, usually after Yellow Flag or other prior disruption. |

 |
Blue Flag
Will be shown to a F1 driver if he disrupts passing, or that he
has to give way that someone can pass him. If he continues to
block or disrupts the passing process after seeing this flag
numerous times, a punishment can occur, usually a 10 sec
stop-go penalty. |

Black
Flag with Orange Dot
Usually shown in combination with a car number, shows the
particular driver that he has a technical defect and has to get
into the pits immediately. |

Black-White
Flag
In combination with a car number, warning due to unfair behavior.
Repeating this behavior, Black Flag for this driver. |
