Jamie 'Dragon' ClemensI was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on May 24, 1975, and was raised in the south. I will always be a southern girl at heart. My life as I was a kid was tough because I had asthma pretty bad and a bad foot, but that didn't stop me from climbing trees, running through the woods, swimming in Lake Tuscaloosa, and acting like the tomboy that I am. Now, besides taking care of Jesslyn and Jayden, I love to spend time online on World or Warcraft. So anyway, Christmas of 1997 my parents got the family a computer and I met Jörg in a German-USA chatroom. We met, in real life, April of 1998 and everything clicked. He had to leave, but came back to marry me June 29, 1998. Christmas of 1998 was spent in Germany meeting my new family. In May 1999 he finally came over to stay. We live in the quiet little town of Newnan, GA with our two cats, Blitz and Tigger. We moved in late May, 2004 for 2 years to Sickingen (Hechingen) in Germany. She was born in October 20, 2004. She is the light of my life! She is already speaking/understanding German and English and saying some things in Japanese. Sometimes I can't believe how much she means to me until she gives me a 'hug hug' or gives me a sweet kiss. February 12, 2006 my baby boy Jayden was born. I definitely thought motherhood was going to be a challenge, but not this much! They keep us on our toes! I had always thought that the beach in Gulf Shores was one of my favorite places. Sinking your toes into the white sand and listening to the cadence of the waves while you look at the vastness of it all. Until about the age of 18, when I discovered New Orleans. Every time I go there it feels as if I have returned home. It isn't just Bourbon Street that makes me smile.... its a combination of the sights, smells, and music that makes my heart sing. My favorite places are Crescent City Brewhouse and Razzoos. With Jörg I have traveled to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, and France. I hope to visit Holland and Spain soon! Besides reading about dragons and fantasy, I love to admire the artwork! There are so many cool pictures done by brilliant artists! Some of my favorites include Julie Bell, Boris Vallejo, Kyle Anderson, and Luis Royo. There are links on my links page to their respective websites. My favorite authors are numerous and include: JK Rowling, George RR Martin, Patricia Kennealy-Morrison, Marian Zimmer Bradley, Timothy Zahn, George Lucas, JRR Tolkien, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Clive Barker, HP Lovecraft, John Saul, Dean Koontz, Clive Cussler, CS Lewis, Jude Devereaux, Catherine Coulter, Johanna Lindsey, and Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. SEC football is like a religion in the South. Since I grew up in Tuscaloosa, my favorite team has always been the Crimson Tide. I went to church for a few years with Coach Jean Stallings and knew his family. They are wonderful people. I didn't like racing too much, since Nascar was the only racing I was exposed to, but Jörg introduced me to Formula 1 racing in 1998. My favorite team is Ferrari and favorite driver is, of course, Michael Schumacher. He is a phenomenal driver! |
