Jörg (Joerg) and Jamie met in a German/USA chatroom in late 1997. In April 1998 he flew over to the States to visit the South (and her). One look was all it took for both of them. They got married on June 29, 1998 in Tuscaloosa, AL and spent their honeymoon in New Orleans, and at the Gulf. Since Jörg was in the military, he had to return, but visited again in October for a few weeks.
Jamie's Christmas of 1998 was spent in Germany, visiting his family and driving around Europe (Austria, Switzerland, France and southern GER). Five months went by till they saw each other again. In May he came back to the USA for good. They moved to Birmingham so Jörg could start at ITT Tech. He graduated, Valedictorian of his class, June 8, 2001 and got his Associate of Applied Science degree (in EET). EGO offered him a job soon after, and then they lived with their two cats, Blitz and Tigger, in the pretty little town of Newnan, GA near Atlanta.
On October 20, 2002 their daughter Jesslyn Diana Rebecca was born in the USA. February 12, 2007, their baby boy Jayden William Thomas made the family complete.
Jamie is into everything fantasy and dragons. Her favorite books include the Harry Potter series, anything R.A. Salvatore, George R.R. Martin, and Patricia Morrison-Kennealy, who writes the Keltiad series. Her loves also extend into art and music. She took art for 7 years in school and wants to pursue an advanced degree in webdesign.
Joerg likes anything with the PC, webdesign, and drawing in pencil. The love of his life, besides Jamie and kids, is the FC Bayern Munich soccer club. He is a member of the Cyber-Bazis chat club and is also a webmaster of several sites. They both share a love of Alabama Football, and Ferrari Racing, and especially Michael Schumacher!
May 22, 2004 the family moved to Hechingen-Sickingen in the Swabian Albs (~60 Miles South of Stuttgart), Germany. Joerg's job transfered them to Germany, where they lived for 2 years.
Since the beginning of 2006 the family is a proud owner of a nice house in Newnan, GA.

Despite a talented cast and some reliably pleasant interplay between Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn, Couples Retreat leaves viewers stranded in an arid, mirthless comedy.
It might be more impressive on a technical level than as a piece of storytelling, but Avatar reaffirms James Cameron's singular gift for imaginative, absorbing filmmaking.
Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass return to the propulsive action and visceral editing of the Bourne films -- but a cliched script and stock characters keep those methods from being as effective this time around.
